  The Bogart Jones Band is proud to announce the release of the group’s new album Beneath the Scars on March 26th, 2021. It’s an exhilarating record full of rock, blues, jazz, country, and soul sounds that’s coming straight out of America’s heartland and has drawn comparisons to The Allman Brothers, Little Feat, and The Doobie Brothers. Band members Wes Simmons (lead vocals and bass), Ryan Rose and Don Mabus (guitars and vocals), Tim Fiers (drums), Curt Caudill (keyboards and vocals), and Ty Bailey (percussion) wrote and recorded the ten original songs on Beneath the Scars as a unit and the chemistry and cohesion they share are obvious in the music. This is American music melted down and done right as only this crew of stellar, experienced players could do it.
  The Bogart Jones Band began attracting a lot of attention with its 2016 debut effort 14th & Willow. The group’s brand of soulful Southern rock built on outstanding songs, ripping guitars, and a generally swamped-up attitude resonated with fans and critics alike and the record was considered one of the best indie releases of the year. The BJB is also a powerhouse live act and has shared bills with major artists including Molly Hatchet, Blues Traveler, Buddy Guy, .38 Special, Los Lobos, and Samantha Fish, and appeared at important music festivals like Peoria Heritage & Blues Festival, Summer Camp, and the great Sturgis Bike Rally.
